Nancy joined NBC in July 2012. Even though physically challenged, the Lord has enabled her to serve in many positions including the Deacons, various committees (Pastoral-Parish/Personnel, Pastoral Search, Investment Advisory) and the Board of Stewards (Property Steward, Christian Education and Church Clerk). For a short time she also shared the staff position of Church Secretary.

Now, as the church secretary, Bible Study facilitator, the Clerk of the Stewards & Pastoral Search Committee, and participant in the Music Program, NBC is built into many days of her week!

Pat Erricson serves as our treasurer, and has previously served on our Diaconate and as Church Life Steward. She has been married for 56 years, and has three children, two step-children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. On Sundays, you'll often see Pat as one of our ushers or working with children in our Sunday school.

Hannah has been a member of NBC for over 10 years and currently serves as our Special Accounts Steward. Through this role, she oversees designated church funds and ensures donations and resources are managed accurately. You may also see Hannah participating in the Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, or serving our littlest members by leading Sunday School.

Sue has been a member of the church for nearly 50 years, after moving to this area from Massachusetts. She has been in the choir since then, and later the handbell choir. Her involvement over the years has included church clerk (25 years), treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and Bible study leader; she is currently Collector and one of the Deacons.

I have one younger sister, Diane. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education. In 1977, I married my husband, Mark, and began my adventure as a Navy wife.
Teaching positions were difficult to find – so I started volunteering at Navy – Marine
Corps Relief Society and found my true calling and it turn into a 34-year long career. First, I was hired as a financial counselor, then was promoted to a company trainer and finally promoted to the Director of the local office.
When we arrived in Southeastern Connecticut, we became members of First Baptist Church in New London and remained there - until the church closed. After visiting Niantic Baptist Church a few times – we knew that we had found a new church home. Once I became church member – I have served in several positions. I have served as
the church treasurer, served on the Diaconate, the personnel committee and as President of the Baptist Women’s Group. Currently, I am serving as the chair of the Pastoral Search Committee and as the Finance Steward.
I reside in New London, CT with my husband, Mark and four dogs.

He has served in several positions (usher, lay reader, deacon treasurer) and also participates in and leads Bible studies. His intent since coming to this church is to learn and gain experience as much as he can whether it's learning the Word of God, church business, or to improve as a child of God. By the will of God, Alex hope to serve this church however long this congregation and God will allow.
