Rev. Huegel grew up near Erie, PA in a Christian family and has gone to church all of his life. He made a personal commitment of his life to Christ at age 16; he felt called to the ministry at age 20. Bill graduated from Nyack Missionary College in Nyack, NY
before going on to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary located just north of Boston, Massachusetts.
Pastor Bill has served three Baptist Churches full time (Peabody, MA - 8 years, Winchester, MA - 12 years, Wallingford, CT - 14 years). He retired in June of 2009 and has served as an interim minister since 2010.
Since retiring; Rev. Huegel has been blessed by the privilege of going to Les Cayes, Haiti to teach pastors, leading seminars on Biblical, theological, and pastoral issues. He has been an annual conference speaker for the Bethesda Evangelical Mission in Haiti
and has led leadership seminars in LaRomana, Dominican Republic through the Haitian Missionary Baptist Church. He has also had the privilege of preaching and teaching in Lima and Piura, Peru and Guatemala City, Guatemala. Bill has also taught the Bible in various parts of the world via Zoom through the ministry of Sword Ministries Inc.
Pastor Bill has a love for both preaching and teaching the Scriptures. He enjoys people and has a love for Jesus Christ and the Christian Church.
