Interim Minister

Chaplain Joseph Parise officially began as the NBC Interim Minister on March 1, 2025. His spiritual journey began in New London: first at St. James Episcopal Church, then at First Baptist Church. After 28 years at FBC, he attended Pastors-in-Training classes at Calvary Chapel of Eastern CT to become a pastor.  He was ordained in 2015 and began providing pulpit supply for various churches. He currently serves as a Police Chaplain to the Waterford Police Dept.
